We want clean, complete copies with intact spines, no water damage, and minimal annotation in the margins. A book that's been loved but not abused finds a home here.

What We Buy

Popular fiction, well-regarded non-fiction, classic literature, and anything rare or signed. Genre fiction, mysteries, and literary criticism all have their place on our shelves.

What We Don't

Heavily worn book club editions and textbooks are rarely accepted. Their shelf life here is short, and we'd rather be honest than take something we can't sell fairly.

How Pricing Works

There's no fixed price list because every collection is different.

Our offers are based on three things: how well the book is in condition, how much demand we're seeing for it right now, and how many copies we already have on the shelf. A pristine first edition of something we've been sold out of will fetch more than a worn book club edition of something we just bought three copies of.

The fairness is in the conversation. We'll look at your books with you, explain our thinking, and give you a real number at the counter.
